A1. Motion to Amend the Budget Motion
status: voting completed
Moved: To delete those expenditures and to place projected CQ revenues in a set-aside until the publication's future has been decided, and to allow for two further issues of the current newsletter format to be printed for the year 2003. Should the decision be made to cease publication of CQ, the set-aside funds and cancellation process should be handled in this manner:

Publish a letter of intent in the newsletter stating that the CQ has been discontinued.
Explain the economic necessity for doing so.
Offer a refund on subscription balance due; it will be the responsibility of the subscriber to contact the ICG Treasurer directly for their refund.
Include an explanation how any unclaimed balances will be considered a donation which will be applied to production of the newsletter.

Motion made by Carl Mami, Seconded by Betsy Delaney. Amendment revised due to vote on Amendment A1a, and friendly amendment offered by Betsy Delaney, accepted by Carl Mami.
