Worldcons
The World Science Fiction Convention, commonly called Worldcon, is the premiere convention in Science Fiction fandom. It is a travelling convention, moving from city to city. Each Worldcon has a unique name.
The masquerade at Worldcon is often, though not always, the largest of the year. It attracts competitors from across the continent, and often from around the world.
Worldcon is recognized by the International Costumers' Guild as an International-level venue.
