What's Going On?

January 25, 2012 -- The 2012 ICG budget has been approved by the Board of Directors. You can view the budget and all ICG financial documents here: ICG 2012 Budget

January 12, 2012 -- ICG chapters covered under the ICG's Group Exemption Letter (GEL) should begin the process of gathering up and submitting their 2011 financial reports. November 30, 2011 -- Inspired by the cold weather there is a big update to the convention list including a number of new conventions in the US and Abroad (because costuming is international!). See the Uncoming Conventions page for details. If you know of a convention that should be added (no Japanese ones yet) or see a bug, please drop a note to the website team at webmaster@costume.org.

November 10, 2011 -- The ICG has several standing committes, including ones that oversee budgets and finance, fundraising, PR, publications such as the newsletter, and technical and web iniatives such as this website and the ICG gallery. Your input and suggestions are welcome. See the new "Standing Committees" section on the Officers & Board page for descriptions and contact information.

May 5, 2011 The ICG is proud to present Jill Eastlake with the 2011 Lifetime Achievement Award. Jill is the 22nd recipient of ICG's higest honor. See Jill's LAA citation to learn more about her achievements!

The ICG has voted to recognize the competitions at WorldCon, at Costume-Con and at Anime North.
