For most folks, being married to Peggy Kennedy would be enough, just for the amount of energy spent on helping out on all her projects. Pat was never one to take a back seat, though. He MC'd and judged masquerades at all levels, he was a masquerade director many times and was a Con Chair as well. He was always a great ambassador between costuming and other parts of fandom. Costumers who got their start in the 80s will remember Pat was always a person to recognize talent and go out of his way to make newbies feel welcome.

Pat passed away in 1995.
