For the Board's information, Jeanine has informed me that we have received renewals from Gulf Coast and Costumers Guild of Lancaster. I have contacted both of their representatives to let them know about the upcoming nominations and vote.

Also, one update from Yahoo:

Mera, I would welcome continued officer-ship on this Board through the current turbulence.

I got behind on Board e-mail this past weekend -- I was doing a costume thing -- and Wow, was I surprised.  I hope I was not one who made you or Marianne feel like an outsider.  ICG really needs to update itself online. But I agree with Jeanine that we've got to tend to our current ICG chapters right now.

FYI: if there is going to be a day-long heated discussion on ICG's Slack channel, especially on a work day, I won't be there. I CANNOT do anything with ICG on my work computer and it's not something that I can do on my phone.  And I will adamantly state that any ICG officer should be able to do ICG business only in the evenings and on weekends.

I am still catching up on it all  ..... as I said in another post, if there is a heated discussion going on all day, especially on a work day, I'm not going to be there.  However I am Recording Secretary (yikes) and large events need to be archived (thanks, Vicky for cross-posting Slack on Yahoo!).

From the announcement I've seen, Yahoo! e-mail lists are not going away for now (though no one considers them reliable now)  but files and polls and other extras are.

I've been told and seen in another post that Phil Gust has been archiving everything in Yahoo! It is to my shame that I'm not asking before now, but Phil, as Recording Secretary, is there any way I can get access to that Archive?

Anne,

You have been a dear friend since we met at Dragon.  You have always been wonderful.  Please don’t think I meant you in anyway and I’m so sorry that it might come across that way.  I truly appreciate everything you’ve done and enjoyed spending time at CostumeCon and Dragon with you.  I look forward to dinner with you again at the next Con we are both attending.

Thank you for everything.
Cordially,
Mera Babineaux

I agree on civility and moving forward.  And brevity always helps, too.

I did not realize that went to the list.  It was intended to go to Anne privately.  Apologies.
